This coin was minted by Ferdinand & Isabella, the rulers of Spain and the funders of Columbus’ expedition to the New World. This is a wonderful opportunity for almost any collector to have an interesting piece made during a pivotal time in World and American history.
Although it has not been certified as such, it’s likely this coin came from a shipwreck. NGC grades this rare piece Fine Details, Environmental Damage.
