AR Denarius Geta AD 209-211 NGC Ch VF – A beautiful example of a Roman silver coin with excellent eye appeal, choice for the affordable grade. Choice for the grade of Very Fine, approaching Extremely Fine.

Geta reigned for a short period, from years 209 to 211 of the common era. Publius Septimius Geta reigned along with his father Septimius Severus and brother Caracalla. He was murdered by his more famous brother, the tyrant Caracalla who took sole power of the empire for a few years until he, too, was betrayed and murdered following a military defeat.
