This is among the finest Brown 1909 VDBs in existence, and with this level of spectacular toning, this Registry Set-worthy piece will be highly sought by serious Lincoln collectors all over. This coin comes from the VDB Collection SET2 Registry Set, where it matched the grade of that collector’s first set coin at 6 Brown CAC. There are less than a handful of 6+s in existence right now.
